Here we are at the Bonneville Speedway where they race their cars on the salt flats. It was pretty amazing to see nothing but white salt all around you. I had never seen anything like that before. We took a short family trip to the Wendover area to see the festivities. John's dad Tom had worked there all week and we thought it would be fun to check it out since we had never been there before. Even though it was hot and hard to entertain a 1 year old there, I'm glad that we were able to experience it and share Tom's hobby with him.
