This Thanksgiving has probably been one of my favorite ones in a long time. All month long we were writing down one thing that we were grateful for and pinned it up on our rope that I attached to our ceiling in our dining room. It was so nice to see that daily reminder of the many things that we are thankful for. It was a lot of fun and it really helped us see how truly blessed we are.
On Thanksgiving we went to John's mom's house for dinner and then on Sunday I made our own Thanksgiving feast which was divine. I made a turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, stuffing, fresh steamed green beans with toasted almonds on top, dinner rolls, 7-layer salad, and a pumpkin pie. And all of it was gluten free and it turned out perfect. John even recorded the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade (which is a must in our house because we both grew up watching it on Thanksgiving) with our DVR so we were able to watch it later that night and fast forward through the commercials which was an added bonus of having it recorded and not watching it live.

Mallory and Aubrey's turkey hand prints that we made.
Our Thanksgiving book that we read, and Aubrey's turkey bib.

Mallory's festive outfit. I bought this for her last year and since she's so petite she still fits into it.
Mallory's turkey socks. She kept walking around saying "gobble gobble" which was so cute.
