This was the highlight of our summer! When my mom was here visiting from Arizona we decided to take all of the kids to the Discovery Gateway Children's Museum. John and I had not been there yet with our girls but we were sure this would be a hit with all of the kids. They were able to get out some energy and play with all sorts of new things. And to top it all off this kind stranger who was in line ahead of us gave us a coupon for 2 free admissions! We were so grateful for that. Thank you incredibly kind stranger!
Here are some highlights from our day at the museum.
Here are some highlights from our day at the museum.
The kids and John had a blast playing with the balls at the entrance of the museum.
Driving to the grocery store.
What child doesn't like to play in the water? Chase loved this activity and so did my girls!
Here's Bree grocery shopping. She's kind of a crazy little shopper.
Chase in a canoe.
Mallory in a tree house.
Cowgirl Mallory....giddy up!
Here we are on the Life Flight Helicopter. This was really neat! It made sounds to make you feel like you were on the real chopper.
Chase was our pilot and Hannah our co-pilot.
Here I am as the pilot.
Mallory and I were practicing to be the weather newscasters for Channel 5 KSL News. This was a really section of the museum, John and I really enjoyed this part.
John a future newscaster?
Maybe they will be a daddy daughter team? You just never know.
After the Children's Museum we took the kids to the splash pad at the Gateway Mall and the kids loved it! Mallory was a bit shy and didn't want to run through the water so I had to go through with her. I didn't mind much because it was really hot that day. It was refreshing.
Hannah and Mallory. They both had Little Mermaid Swimsuits on. Chase and Hannah had a blast running through the water. It was fun to watch them get soaked.
Here's Bree just relaxing in her stroller with her sister's sunglasses on, her blanket, and her pacifier. She was tired out and didn't want much to do with the water at this point. And one of the best parts of our fun-filled day is that all of the kids slept great that night!
