Mallory's First Movie...

We saw the movie Cars 2 a few weeks ago when we took Mallory to her first ever movie at the movie theater. John's mom was kind enough to watch Aubrey for us so that way Mallory was able to have a really special time with just her mom and dad since she had our undivided attention. We are going to try and do that more often for her since she gets a little bit jealous of her baby sister at times.
John was in his element because he's the movie guru in our family. One of his hobbies is watching a good flick at the theater so this was an extra special outing for him with his daughter. He was so excited to create this memory with Mallory which was so cute to see. We bought Mallory the kid's snack pack at the concession stand which consisted of popcorn, a drink, and fruit snacks which came in a fun little box with a handle. Mallory loved it! She sat in the booster seat and just munched away on her popcorn and guzzled down her fruit punch. After that she wanted to get down and explore since her attention span is still pretty short. She made it through about 3/4 of the film and then we had to bail out. But all in all it was a great first movie experience!
